Parameters:

vectorSize - the number of stored bytes for this value

index - the row index

IOException - if the value could not be read

readBits

           int bits,
           int index)
              throws IOException

Read a bit-packed integer value.

Parameters:

nBytes - the total number of bytes used for all rows

bits - the number of bits to read for the specified row

index - the row index

Returns:

the value for the given row and column

Throws:

IOException - if the value could not be read
