             int codeSize,
             boolean TIFF)
              throws IOException

Parameters:

out - destination for compressed data

codeSize - the initial code size for the LZW compressor

TIFF - flag indicating that TIFF lzw fudge needs to be applied

Throws:

IOException - if underlying output stream error
